Yesterday morning, sitting at my desk in Eleanor Dark’s studio at Varuna, I decided I’d take phone photos of seven different flowers. I immediately amended this to “as many flowers as I can find” on account of the fact that it’s the middle of winter. But as soon as I got out into the garden, I saw that seven flowers was unnecessarily pessimistic. There were many, many more! Here are five of the seven photos I took:
