Songs for Kate (documentary)

Songs for Kate is a documentary about the making of the Kate Kelly Song Cycle. The song cycle is a chamber opera about the last days of Ned Kelly’s sister Kate – by Merrill Findlay and Ross Carey. It was screened in Bathurst on Friday, October 25, 2013, in Forbes on Saturday, October 26, 2013 and in Lithgow on January 26, 2014. It was warmly received in these locations.
